Only home educators registered with the Department of Education through Aurora Virtual School may access resources without charge.
1. Resource Services Collection
Resource Services houses a repository of media and materials that supplement teaching and learning. Home educators have access to these resources located at the Department of Education. Home educators can open an account, search our collection, and borrow most educational materials. The staff will be glad to assist you with any requests you may have.
2. Curriculum Materials
Home educators can search evaluated and approved resources in the Catalogue of Curriculum Resources. Home educators registered with Yukon Education may access resources from the Catalogue of Curriculum Materials without charge. They must order materials directly through Resource Services. Materials may be picked up at Resource Services or shipped to a school for pick-up at no charge.
Curriculum materials are loaned to home educators and must be returned to Resource Services at the end of each school year unless an extension has been arranged. If materials are not returned at the end of the school year, home educators will be billed for the cost of outstanding goods.
